The TFL chaps forced me out into the sunshine, to walk from Oxford St to Battersea. It might be one of the most beautiful walks in London. Down Regent St, Conduit St, through Green Park, past Buckingham Palace, down Pimlico Road and across Albert Bridge into Battersea. It’s a ridiculously posh walk, especially down Cheney Row, where every car is a Bentley with a personalised number plate.
It was a really romantic walk, albeit somewhat touristy. I’m definitely going to walk it more often. I think I can do the entire thing in just over an hour.
